On the night of July 20 at Sabina Park, Australia's T20I cap number 112, Mitchell Owen, added his name to an elite list of Australian batters to score a fifty on their T20I debuts.

While chasing the target of 190 against the West Indies in Kingston, Owen came in to bat at a precarious stage.

Joining Cameron Green in the middle at 78/4 at 8.2 overs mark, the Tasmanian batter stitched a crucial 80-run stand off just 40 balls to shift the momentum towards the Aussies.
