As arch-rivals India and Pakistan met for the second time in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 on Sunday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the Super 4 stage, all eyes were on Suryakumar Yadav as the Indian captain walked out on the pitch for the toss.
The two nations clashed last Sunday in a group stage clash where reigning champions India registered a comfortable seven-wicket win over their rivals.
What followed the high-octane clash was a series of controversies related to India captain Yadav denying his counterpart Agha a customary handshake during the toss and the Indian team then snubbing the Pakistanis for a post-match greeting on the ground.

Since then, Pakistan have lodged complaints with ICC against India and match referee Andy Pycroft and even threatened to boycott the tournament, although they later reversed their decision.

Did Suryakumar Yadav shake hands with Salman Agha during toss?
No, Suryakumar did not offer a handshake to Salman Agha during the toss. In fact, the Indian captain, who won the toss and elected to field first, did not even look at the Pakistan skipper and walked out immediately after speaking to Ravi Shastri, without even looking at Agha.
