Bhuvneshwar Kumar is undoubtedly one of the finest fast bowlers that have come out of India in the last two decades. Making his debut back in 2012, Kumar has remained a mainstay in the Indian cricket team across formats and has dazzled opponent batsmen with quality swing bowling.
However, since 2022, Kumar has been overlooked by the selectors in the Indian team. The last time the 35-year-old wore the national team jersey was in November 2022, in a bilateral T20I series against New Zealand.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar takes a dig at selectors on India comeback
Speaking to Dainik Jagran, Kumar discussed his future plans and his ambition of returning to the national team set-up. He said: "The selectors will answer this question. My job is to give my 100 per cent on the field, and I am giving it. After the UP League, if I get a chance to play for the state’s senior teams in Mushtaq Ali, Ranji or one-day format, I will try to give my best there too.
"As a disciplined bowler, my focus is on my fitness and line & length. No matter how well you perform, sometimes luck does not favour you."
