A video showing England opener Ben Duckett drunk and disorientated during the team's infamous Noosa trip has been made public with the nation's cricket body investigating.

The vision, which surfaced via social media on Tuesday, shows an intoxicated Duckett slurring his words as he struggled to get home from a night out in the Queensland resort town.

A short statement from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) spokesperson revealed Duckett was under investigation for his conduct in the video.

"We are aware of content circulating on social media," the spokesperson said to Fox Sports.

"We have high expectations for behaviour, accepting that players are often under intense levels of scrutiny, with established processes that we follow when conduct falls below expectations.

"We also support players that need assistance. We will not comment further at this stage while we establish the facts."

Duckett is seen engaging with three fellow revellers outside a venue, with a man behind the camera trolling the English opener: "Do you want me to get you an Uber to the nets, bro? It’s probably for the best … We’re losing 2-0."

The England batter has struggled to make runs in the Ashes series so far, compiling 97 runs in six innings at an average of 16.16 - with a high score of only 29.

There was already scrutiny surrounding England's Noosa trip before it even happened - with the team sitting 2-0 down in the Ashes series before heading off on the four-day break.

Now after losing the third Test in Adelaide, pressure is building on England for the performances on and off the field Down Under, with two dead-rubber Tests in Melbourne and Sydney to play.
