The Indian cricket team's pre-season fitness camp at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru has given the selectors plenty of positives ahead of a packed international schedule.
Nearly all centrally contracted players turned up for assessments, which included the Yo-Yo Test, Bronco Test and medical screenings under the supervision of strength and conditioning coach Adrian le Roux.
The results have brought encouraging signs - especially for India's senior pros who are easing back after breaks from the game.

Having retired from Tests and T20Is, the 38-year-old will now focus solely on ODIs, with the home series against Australia in October being his next big assignment.
While Rohit has been training for only three weeks, reports suggest he has kept himself in lean condition and is even considering a return through India A matches against Australia A later in September.
Prasidh Krishna posts standout numbers
The same report highlighted pacer Prasidh Krishna as the most impressive performer among the group. His fitness scores reportedly surpassed those of established fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj.
Other key names such as Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shardul Thakur, Washington Sundar, Jitesh Sharma and Bumrah also cleared their assessments without concern. One notable absentee was Virat Kohli, who has been training in London since the IPL final.
It remains uncertain when he will report to the CoE for his assessment; though reports indicate he could be available by September if he opts to play India A fixtures.
With the Asia Cup 2025 starting September 9, these fitness updates offer India timely reassurance as they prepare for another demanding season.
