Australia's explosive batting order has overseen some of the finest run-chases in T20I cricket over the years.

From top-order superstars like Aaron Finch and David Warner to the middle-order power-hitters in Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis, the 2021 T20 World Cup winners have always had the firepower to chase big totals.

Their chase of 245 runs in 2018 against New Zealand was once the record highest successful chase in T20Is, but it now sits at number three behind South Africa's 259 (vs WI) and Bulgaria's 246 (vs Serbia).

Led by half-centuries from the new generation stars Cameron Green and Mitchell Owen, the Aussies chased down 190 against the West Indies on Sunday night in Kingston.

What are Australia's biggest run-chases in T20Is

Australia have chased 200 or more runs on six different occasions in T20I cricket.

Their highest run-chase came in 2018 against New Zealand, where D'Arcy Short's 76(44) and Warner's 59(24), followed by 31(14) and 36*(14) from Maxwell and Finch, respectively, helped them reach 245 with 7 balls left.

The latest chase of 215 against WI ranks fourth in the list of the highest totals chased by Australia.
