South Africa bowled out Australia for 193 in Mackay to win the 2nd ODI of the series by a big margin of 84 runs.

With this win, the Proteas sealed the ongoing series with the third and final ODI of the series still to be played on August 24 at the same venue.

Batting first, Matthew Breetzke (88 off 78) and Tristan Stubbs (74 off 87) added 89 crucial runs for the 4th wicket after three early wickets.

Stubbs continued with another good partnership with Wiaan Mulder before Keshav Maharaj's cameo guided them to 277. Adam Zampa was the pick of the bowlers for Australia with 3/63 to his name.

In response, Australia kept losing wickets at quick intervals, and Josh Inglis' effort of 87 (74) was in vain as the hosts were dismantled for 193, days after their 198 all-out performance while chasing 297 runs in Cairns.

Lungi Ngidi stepped up in the absence of Kagiso Rabada and took 5/42 in 8.4 overs and was awarded the Player of the Match award.
