Australian captain Pat Cummins will not play in the second Ashes Test against England in Brisbane after being left out of the squad.
The skipper was tipped to be a chance to feature in the match after reports he was recovering well from his back injury that kept him out of the first Test in Perth.
But the Aussies have named an unchanged squad for the Perth Test, with Usman Khawaja also retaining his position in the list available players.
Cummins is expected to be a chance to return from injury in the third Test in Adelaide, which starts on December 17.
There had been speculation Mitch Marsh would receive a call-up to the squad, but selectors have so far resisted the urge to make any changes.
