All the upcoming star cricketers from across Asia will be in action in the upcoming Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025, which began on November 14, in Doha, Qatar.

Following the resounding success of the recent Asia Cup in September, the same eight teams and the same groups will compete in a nine-day tournament, testing their youth, which has shown promise in domestic cricket and the T20 leagues.

As Afghanistan A looks to defend its 2024 title, we take a look at the fixtures, timings, format, and points table for the T20 tournament.

What is the format of the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025?

The Rising Stars tournament will be played in a single-round robin group stage and a knockout format.

Eight teams have been divided into two groups of four, where each team will face the other three teams in the group in the first stage of the tournament.

The top two teams from both groups will proceed to the semi-finals, to be played on November 21 — A1 vs. B2 and B1 vs. A2.

The winners of both semifinals will face off on November 23 to determine the champions.
