Legendary Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is all set to feature in the Big Bash League this year as he will represent the Sydney Thunder franchise in the upcoming 2025-26 edition of the Australian T20 league.

Ashwin called time on his International career in December 2024, announcing his retirement from Test, ODI and T20I formats midway through India's Test series against Australia.

Earlier this month, the Indian spinner decided to bring the curtain down on his Indian Premier League (IPL) career too, which made him available to play in franchise leagues across the world.
