India head to Manchester after suffering a heartbreaking loss at the Lord's in the third Test. Despite Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj's valiant fight, England emerged victorious and took a 2-1 lead in the series.

The Indian side bounced back in a stunning manner at Edgbaston after losing the first Test at Headingley. Without their star pacer Jasprit Bumrah, Shubman Gill and Co. managed to thrash the hosts by 336 runs.

The result at the 'Home of Cricket', however, has spoiled India's momentum in the series as they will now hope to draw level at Manchester.

The think tank, led by captain Gill and head coach Gautam Gambhir, might look to make some changes in the lineup after the loss in the third Test and former India captain Dilip Vengsarkar has forwarded his recommendations.

Despite travelling with the team, Arshdeep Singh is still awaiting his Test debut for India, while experienced spinner Kuldeep Yadav is also yet to feature in the starting lineup.

According to Vengsarkar, the duo of Singh and Yadav must be included in the Manchester Test as he revealed which player should be dropped from the starting lineup.

Speaking to RevSportz, Vengsarkar said: " I would pick Arshdeep Singh and Kuldeep Yadav. Arshdeep is a good left-arm bowler who can move the ball in the air and off the wicket, which is crucial in English conditions. He can also reverse swing the ball, which is important. I have seen him bowl.

"I would drop Nitish Reddy and perhaps one more player to make room for Arshdeep. I think Siraj and Bumrah should keep their places, but Reddy could make way. Kuldeep Yadav could also replace someone like Washington Sundar. You need five bowlers in a Test match to win it. If your six batters can’t put up a good total, the bowlers need to take responsibility. You can’t win a Test match with part-time bowlers.
