One of the dominant offseason storylines in the WNBA will be the future of Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese.

Already a two-time All-Star and arguably the greatest rebounder the league has ever seen, Reese voiced her displeasure with the Sky organization in a stunning interview last month that led to Chicago suspending her for half a game. She did not sit for an exit interview when the season ended, as the Sky limped to a 10-34 record -- the joint-worst mark in the league.

Amid speculation that Reese has a less than 50 percent shot of remaining with the Sky in 2026, the Chi-town Barbie (for now) has been busy with other pursuits. Reese, on Wednesday night, will become the first professional athlete to walk the runway for the lingerie brand Victoria's Secret, and she has also announced a collaboration with Amazon as she continues to sharpen her business acumen.

However, Reese's WNBA future still hangs in the balance, and a Wednesday post on X sparked debate as to whether she has already selected her new destination.

Reese posted "#ARWINGS," which prompted talk that she has secret plans to team up with Paige Bueckers on the Dallas Wings -- who tied the Sky for the WNBA's worst record -- in 2026.

"You wanna sign with the Dallas wings? What?" wrote one bemused fan, while another posted "Don't worry Paige will show you the best texmex spots."

"I'm praying for a double meaning there and a prophetic! AR5 and PB5... Jesus take the wheel!" wrote @ComicDramaTV

But the reference to "wings" on social media is almost certainly tied to Reese "getting her wings" on the Victoria's Secret runway, tied to her historic appearance in New York City on Wednesday night.

That said, though, Reese has been candid about her desire to win championships in the WNBA, and her continued "cold war" with Chicago may well result in her moving to a different market before next season begins.

Whether that destination is Dallas, as the other half of a dynamic duo with Rookie of the Year winner Bueckers, remains to be seen.
