It was a rematch for the ages. Team Stewart found redemption against Team Wilson in the 2023 WNBA All-Star Game after being pummeled in 2022.

Team Stewart rolled to a 143-127 victory Saturday night in Las Vegas. The game set multiple records, most notably for points in an WNBA game with 270 total.

Jewell Loyd set a WNBA All-Star Game record with 31 points, breaking the previous mark of 30 set by Maya Moore in 2015 and matched by Kelsey Plum in 2022. Plum also scored 30 on Saturday.

"3s are [worth] more than 2s, I think I told Sabrina [Ionescu] that," Loyd told ESPN after the game with a smirk. Loyd made nine 3-pointers and a 4-pointer for her points.

Ionescu, the 2023 3-Point Contest champion, would surely agree — and point out that she dropped in three from beyond the 4-point line in her 18-point night.

Loyd, nicknamed "Gold Mamba," was voted the game's MVP on a night she celebrated her parents' 40th wedding anniversary. Loyd shouted them out more than once.

Brittney Griner had a huge showing in her ninth All-Star appearance, scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. Two of those points came on the 26th dunk of her WNBA career, extending her all-time record. She was named an honorary All-Star starter last season during her Russian detainment; her presence on the court this year helped energize the crowd..

"I talked to my knees, I gave them a little pep talk, but we got it up there," Griner told ESPN's Holly Rowe of her first-quarter slam.

Earlier, it was announced that the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game will be played in Phoenix.
