Angel Reese is one of the most marketable stars in women's basketball.
But right now, there's no assurance that Reese will be playing in the WNBA in 2026. The league and the Women's National Basketball Players Association are in a state of "status quo" following the expiration of the collective bargaining agreement on Jan. 9.
Due to this, some of the league's stars are playing in Miami as part of the 3-on-3 Unrivaled league. Others are enjoying some well-earned time off following the 2025 season, the longest in the WNBA's history.
But Reese is continuing to branch out.

Following her cameo in the Kathryn Bigelow film "A House of Dynamite" last year, Reese is returning to Netflix as a member of the cast of "The Hunting Wives," which has just entered production for its second season.
Reese will be playing a character called Training Barbie, a play on her nicknames of "Bayou Barbie" and "Chi-town Barbie."

Reese was an NCAA star at Maryland and LSU, where she won a national championship in 2023. Upon joining the Chicago Sky as the seventh overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, she went on to lead the league in rebounding twice while meriting two All-Star selections.
