How many points did Angel Reese score today? Full stats, results, highlights from Fever vs. Sky game image

Angel Reese had herself quite the offseason.

The Sky sophomore enjoyed a glistening first season in the professional game, corralling more rebounds per game (13.1) than any other player in league history. With 26 double-doubles to her name in 2024, Reese made herself an indispensable part of the league's billowy tapestry.

Then came the fall and winter months. Reese, like many of the W's finest players, took her talents to Unrivaled. One Defensive Player of the Year, second-team All-Unrivaled appearance, and Unrivaled championship later, Reese is back in the Windy City. She's hoping to improve on some of her deficiencies — particularly her finishing at the rim — and push Chicago up the league table.

Reese and the Sky start their season with a flourish, jousting with the Fever and fellow 2024 draft maven and long-time rival Caitlin Clark. A strong outing could prove vital for Chicago, who look to make a statement in head coach Tyler Marsh's regular-season debut.

Reese dominated on the boards from the get-go, but she once again struggled with her shot, including around the rim. She did splash a triple, though, so perhaps that's a sign her jumper and finishing will gradually get better this season.

Angel Reese highlights vs. Indiana Fever

Reese is expanding her game in Year 2, putting the development on full display in the opener.

In the game's early stages, Reese scored with an isolation bucket as she showcased her improved ball-handling abilities.

Later, she showcased an improved jumper with her first 3-pointer of the season. As a rookie, Reese canned just 3-of-16 3-point attempts. She's already 1-of-2 in her first half of the season.
