Before the game, head coach Sandy Brondello said there is no timeline for her return, and it is unclear what part of her right left she injured.

How big of loss is Stewart?

Stewart is scoring 18.3 points per game, ripping down 4.5 rebounds and dishing out 3.9 assists per game. The top scorer for New York has been Sabrina Ionescu, who is scoring 19.3 points per game.

New York started their road trip of four straight road games. Following the game on Monday, the Liberty will be on the road at Minnesota and two in a row in Connecticut before returning home on August 5.
