In a game that many circled on their calendar as Caitlin Clark against Angel Reese turned into the Kelsey Mitchell show. Caitlin Clark missed another game for the Indiana Fever. Angel Reese did not play for the Chicago Sky.

Mitchell dominated, scoring 35 points, dishing out six assists, and picking up three steals in the 93-78 win over the Sky.

Aliyah Boston was also strong for Indiana, with 14 points and 11 rebounds. She was 5-for-9 from the field.

Sophie Cunningham remained in the starting line-up for the Fever. While she had just five points in the game, her late three-pointer was a big shot for Indiana to extend the lead.

For Chicago, Rachel Banham was the top scorer. She had 26 points in the game.

Reese missed the game with a back injury and has not played since the loss to Minnesota, where she played 30 minutes on July 22. Clark continues to miss time with a right groin injury. The last time she played was July 15 at Connecticut.

Indiana is now 14-12 and has won back-to-back games. Chicago dropped to 7-18, and has lost five straight.

Indiana will host the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday, while Chicago is at the Washington Mystics on Tuesday.
