One of Caitlin Clark's newest teammates won't even get the chance to catch regular season assists from the Indiana Fever superstar.
The Fever made their final preseason cut on Tuesday with the regular season opening at the end of the week.
Indiana released Jaelyn Brown.
The 26-year old was sent to Indiana in a four-team trade in February.
The lefty spent the 2024 season with Dallas, where she averaged 2.6 points in 10.1 minutes per game.
The Fever actually only have 11 players on their roster now instead of the maximum 12, but that keeps them under the cap threshold, according to Sports Illustrated.

Brown's cut means we know who earned the Fever's final roster spot: Makayla Thompson.
Thompson was the No. 19 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft.
She played at Florida State, and head coach Stephanie White recently said that Thompson's "greatest growth is in front of her" and that she thinks "the sky is the limit for her."
So Brown goes, Thompson stays, and the Fever are ready for this new season.
