Caitlin Clark has become one of the biggest stars in the WNBA, and with that rise has come plenty of crossover moments into pop culture.
That was on full display Tuesday when Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement on Instagram.
"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," Swift wrote.

Caitlin Clark reacts to Swift and Kelce news
Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark wasted no time joining the celebration.
Within minutes of the post, Clark, a known Swift fan, shared the couple’s photos on her Instagram story. She paired them with Swift’s track “So High School” from her 2024 album, a song that has long been rumored to reference Kelce himself.

Why Clark’s reaction is a big deal
Clark has had a growing connection to the Kansas City tight end and the pop superstar. Earlier this year, she joined Kelce on his “New Heights” podcast, where she spoke about her lifelong Chiefs fandom and attending Swift’s Eras Tour. That appearance led to an invite to a Chiefs playoff game, where she watched from Kelce’s suite with Swift.
Given her quick response to the engagement news and her ties to both of them, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Clark ends up on the guest list for what will be one of the most talked-about weddings in years.
Swift and Kelce have not shared any wedding details yet, but Clark’s reaction showed once again just how connected she has become to the biggest names in sports and entertainment.
