Just before the WNBA All-Star break, the Indiana Feverare riding a wave of momentum. With a record of 11-10, they hold third place in the Eastern Conference and have started to find their rhythm.

A big part of that momentum came recently when the Fever scored 64 points in one half during a win over the Dallas Wings. Earlier in July, they also took home the Commissioner’s Cup, beating the Minnesota Lynx 74-59.

Caitlin Clark Joins 3-Point Contest in Indianapolis

Adding to the anticipation, Caitlin Clark is set to make her first appearance in the WNBA’s STARRY 3-Point Contest this Friday. The event will take place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, giving Fever fans a chance to see their star shine on home court during All-Star festivities.

Not long after the news was announced, the Fever celebrated online, posting:
"HEAT CHECK 🔥 repping the home team, Caitlin Clark is locked in for the 2025 WNBA STARRY 3-Point Contest at #WNBAAllStar2025! 👌🏀."

Clark entered the league in 2024 with huge expectations after a historic college career that made her the NCAA’s all-time Division I scoring leader. She quickly proved she belonged, winning WNBA Rookie of the Year, leading the league in assists, and earning both All-Star and All-WNBA First Team honors in her first season.

So far in her second year, Clark continues to impress. Through 12 games, she’s averaging 16.7 points, 9.0 assists, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game.

The 3-Point Contest will feature some of the league’s top shooters, including defending champion Allisha Gray, record-holder Sabrina Ionescu, Kelsey Plum, and rookie standout Sonia Citron.

With Clark participating in one of the All-Star Weekend’s showcase events, and doing so in front of Indiana’s home crowd, it’s safe to say Fever fans have plenty to look forward to.
