Cincinnati high school football powerhouses Elder and Princeton met on Friday night in an OHSAA regional semifinal.

It didn't disappoint.

The ending is one of the craziest you'll see from Week 13 of the Ohio high school football season.

Elder trailed 23-0 when Princeton returned the kickoff for a touchdown to open the second half.

Kaden Estep scored the next three touchdowns to get Elder back to a 23-23 tie, with Estep and Tommy Becker each having a 2-point conversion in the rally.

Elder lined up for a field goal to go ahead with 1:15 left, but Princeton blocked it and took it back to the house for a go-ahead touchdown and 30-23 lead.

On the first play of the ensuing drive, Elder scored from 75 yards out on a touchdown from Estep to Jackson Ruth. The Panthers went for 2 and the win but didn't get it.

With 1:01 left, Elder recovered an onside kick trailing 30-29.

With 12 seconds left, Adam Re made a 22-yard field goal for the win.

Elder (12-0) will take on St. Xavier (9-2) on Friday, Nov. 21 in the Division I, Region 4 final.

And no one will soon forget the win that got them there.
