The final Monument of the 2025 UCI World Tour, the Il Lombardia 2025,  is set to take place in northern Italy on Saturday, October 11.

Tadej Pogacar comes into this year's edition as the four-time defending champion, aiming to win the race for the fifth time and match Fausto Coppi's record.

Additionally, the reigning Tour de France winner will look to replicate Eddy Merckx's feat of winning three monuments, the World Championships, and the Tour de France in the same season.

He won't be the only participant aiming for a third monument of the season, with Mathieu van der Poel in the mix as well.
