The 2025 UCI World Championships will close with the men’s and women’s road races this weekend in Kigali, Rwanda. This is the first time that the world event is taking place in Africa.

Tour de France winners Tadej Pogacar and Pauline Ferrand-Prevot headline a star-studded field, joined by Olympic double champion Remco Evenepoel and American powerhouse Chloé Dygert.

Pogacar will look to defend his crown in the men's road race, while Evenepoel has his sights set on retaining the time trial title. Two-time road race champion Lotte Kopecky and Australian star Grace Brown not in attendance.

Where are the Cycling World Championships road races in 2025? 

The 2025 UCI World Championships are being held in Kigali, Rwanda. 

Saturday's women's race will cover 164.6 kilometers (102 miles) in and around Kigali. The men's road race course for Sunday covers 267.5 kilometres (166 miles) in seven loops of the circuit.
