Kyle Lowry: Toronto Raptors' star becomes third player to reach 10,000 points adding to his extensive resume image

Kyle Lowry cracked the 10,000 point mark during Wednesday's loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. Lowry who already sat third on Toronto's all-time scoring list joined Chris Bosh and DeMar DeRozan as the only players in franchise history to score 10,000 points as a Raptor.

Lowry is just 256 points behind Bosh who currently sits in second place on Toronto's all-time scorers' list. Barring a major interruption in his season, Lowry should be able to pass Bosh and claim the second spot on the list. "I think he's made himself into a heck of a player and the scoring part of it is what he's worked on," head coach Nick Nurse said before Wednesday's contest. "He's improved his shooting going both ways. He's improved the depth of it. He's improved his finishing at the rim. And that all adds up to him getting to a special landmark of 10,000."

Lowry's brilliance on a nightly basis is certainly appreciated by Raptors fans, but years from now those who never saw him play will be able to see the damage he's done on the Raptors' record book during his time in Toronto.

Lowry already holds the Raptors records for 3-pointers made, assists, steals and triple-doubles. He also currently ranks first in win shares and value over replacement player according to Basketball-Reference .

And if he doesn't currently hold the record, he's at the very least in the top five of most major categories. He's second in games and minutes played, top three in free-throws made and the only guard in the top five of total rebounds.

Lowry is already arguably the greatest Raptors of all-time and he still has time to climb his way up in multiple categories.

When all said and done, Raptor fans may never see anyone quite like Kyle Lowry.
