All eyes in the tennis world are on Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner again.
The US Open field predictably whittled down to the two best players in the world and the two most recent grand slam champions who might just be in the early stages of a long rivalry.
Seemingly everyone wants to see these two face off again — including U.S. President Donald Trump, whose attendance at Sunday's final contributed to some delays getting fans into the building in Flushing.
Here's what you need to know about the delayed start at the US Open.

Is Carlos Alcaraz vs. Jannik Sinner delayed?
The US Open final was pushed from 2 p.m. ET to 2:30 p.m. ET "as a result of the security measures in place, and to ensure that fans have additional time to get to their seats," the tournament announced on Sunday.

Those security measures are for President Trump, who last attended the tournament when he was a candidate for president in 2015. Trump, who will also be attending the Yankees' game against the Tigers on Thursday to mark the 24th anniversary of the Sept. 11th attacks, is originally from New York.
With enhanced security for fans attending and a pause when Trump arrived at the venue, long lines remained in the minutes leading up to the previous 2 p.m. ET start time. As of about 2:10 p.m. ET, Trump was already in the building, which likely allowed lines to start moving again.

Fans in Queens could be in for a long day, as history indicates Alcaraz and Sinner are likely to play a grueling match.

The match between Alcaraz and Sinner was originally slated to begin at 2 p.m. ET. Instead, it is now set to start at 2:30 p.m. ET due to long security lines outside the venue.
