World Cup 2026 bracket for Group K
The Group K winner will be placed in the bottom half of the knockout stage bracket. Their opponent in the Round of 32 is currently slated to be the runner-up of Group H. This is one of the four scenarios where a group winner is paired against a Group runner-up, with the other eight Group Winners will face a third-place qualifier.
The Group K runner-up will enter the top half of the bracket. They are scheduled to meet the winner of Group H in the Round of 32.
Should the Group K third-place finisher qualify as one of the eight best third-place teams (out of 12 groups), they have three potential opponents in the Round of 32, as their bracket position depends on the full combination of the eight qualifying third-place teams.
A Group K third-place qualifier could end up facing one of the following Group winners:
- Winner of Group A
- Winner of Group C
- Winner of Group I
The precise opponent and location cannot be determined until all 12 group stages are complete and the eight qualifiers are known. All potential outcomes for third-place pairings are pre-determined and can be found in Annex C of the 2026 FIFA World Cup regulations.
