She is a fashion designer and entrepreneur, collaborating with the swimwear brand "Bikinis Rio" for a collection called "Capsula Sunshine."
She also works as Brand Manager for Lionel's fashion line The Messi Store, and serves as Director of Brand Strategy for his production company 525 Rosario. Her Messi Store gig sees her work alongside Virginia "Ginny" Hilfiger, sister of fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger.
Messi's sister Maria Sol injured in car accident
According to Argentine TV presenter Angel de Brito, passed on by the Daily Star, Maria Sol was injured in a car accident in Miami.
De Brito reported that Maria lost consciousness while driving, causing her vehicle to strike a barrier. He claimed that Messi's sister was "out of danger" but has sustained multiple burns and fractures in the incident, and has quite the recovery ahead of her.
As a result of the incident and her injuries sustained, she has postponed her upcoming wedding, which was scheduled to take place in Rosario, Argentina on January 3.
Who is Messi's sister marrying?
Lionel Messi's sister Maria Sol is slated to marry Julian "Tuli" Arellano, a coach for the U-19 Inter Miami team.
According to Marca, Arellano met Maria when the two were very young, growing up in the same neighborhood.
