Manchester United academy graduate Marcus Rashford joined Barcelona on a season-long loan in July, with an option to sign him permanently for a reported £30.3m (€35m).
While the Englishman was inconsistent and underwhelming with his efforts on the pitch for the Red Devils in the past campaigns, Rashford has turned things around for himself at the Catalan club, registering three goals and five assists in 10 matches across competitions so far for Barcelona.
Rashford also received a recall to England's squad by head coach Thomas Tuchel during their latest international break.
He recently opened up about his struggles at Old Trafford, claiming that the 'inconsistent environment' at Man United was the reason for the drop in his form, and told ITV,
"For sure, consistency is a massive part of it. I feel like I have been in an inconsistent environment for a very long time, so it is even more difficult to be consistent," as per GOAL.
"But I completely agree, I think consistency is what I need to bring into my game and I am looking to do that. I want to be at my best, not sometimes, but as often as possible. When people talk about consistency, in order to be consistent in anything, not just sport, you need consistent variables in your life and the way you train."

"We have just had so many changes so far in my career but I have to look forward and that is definitely one of the things I want to put right and improve on to be at my best more often. When I am at my best I really enjoy everything about the sport."
Now, Man United legend Wayne Rooney has called out Rashford for blaming his inconsistency solely on the 'environment,' mentioning that he thinks it is 'an easy one to throw at people,' rather than taking responsibility for the decline in his own form.
What did Wayne Rooney say about Man United's Marcus Rashford?
While speaking on The Wayne Rooney Show podcast, United's all-time leading goalscorer stated that Rashford's comments reflected the 27-year-old star taking the easy route out than claiming responsibility and said,
"I think the environment hasn't been right but that is down to yourself. If you are not playing well or you get left out of the team then I think it is easier to blame the environment and whether that is right or wrong. I think that comes from how you apply yourself."
"In games we have seen with him where we know he can do more, we know he can run more - that is nothing to do with an environment. I might be wrong here, I really like Marcus as a lad and as a person but I think that is an easy one to throw at people."
With his contract valid at Old Trafford until June 2028, it remains to be seen if Rashford returns to Man United next summer or is able to pull off an impressive campaign at Barcelona for the Spanish giants to activate the optional buy clause next summer.
