Where to watch Chelsea vs. Liverpool live stream, TV channel, start time, lineups for Premier League match image

Cross-city rivals Chelsea and Liverpool will clash in one of the highly anticipated Premier League games on Saturday.

The Blues are coming into this match in not so convincing form, losing 1-3 to Brighton & Hove Albion in their last Premier League clash. The hosts have only collected two victories in their six outings in the tournament so far. Despite poor form, Enzo Maresca's side managed to beat Benfica 1-0 in their second UEFA Champions League outing.

Liverpool, on the other end, will be arriving at Stamford after losing their previous two matches—1-2 to Crystal Palace and 0-1 to Galatasaray—across different competitions. With the recent loss, Liverpool's top spot in the Premier League is likely to slip away this weekend.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times, and the latest lineup news.

Chelsea vs. Liverpool lineups, team news

Following their last fixtures in the Premier League, both Chelsea and Liverpool competed in the Champions League in mid-week, but both faced contrasting results.

While Chelsea managed an unconvincing 1-0 win over their former manager, Jose Mourinho and his Benfica team, Liverpool crashed to a surprising 1-0 defeat away at Galatasaray.

Chelsea’s defeat to Brighton proved even more frustrating for Enzo Maresca as Andrey Santos picked up an injury during the game and is now ruled out for the game at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The youngster joins a large pool of players on the treatment table, which includes the likes of Tosin AdarabioyoLiam DelapLevi ColwillDario Essugo and Cole Palmer.

In addition to the injuries, Trevoh Chalobah and Mykhailo Mudryk are suspended for the game.

Further, since Benoit Badiashile and Romeo Lavia are only just back from injury, it will be interesting to see if Maresca gives them a go from the start against the defending champions.

Chelsea predicted starting XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Sanchez (GK) — Gusto, Acheampong, Badiashile, Cucurella — Fernandez, Caicedo — Estevao, Buonanotte, Neto — Pedro.

Injured: Colwill (ACL), Delap (hamstring injury), Essugo (thigh injury), Tosin (calf injury), Fofana (head injury), Palmer (groin injury), Andrey Santos (knock)
Suspended: Chalobah (red card), Mudryk (doping violation)

On the other hand, Liverpool’s loss at Galatasaray came at an additional cost as their first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker picked up a thigh injury and has been ruled out for the game against Chelsea.

In his absence, Arne Slot has confirmed that new signing Giorgi Mamardashvili will start in goal for the Reds.

Meanwhile, new signing Giovanni Leoni has picked up an ACL injury that is set to rule him out for the rest of the season.

Midfielder Stefan Bajcetic has been ruled out for the foreseeable future with a hamstring injury.

In attack, Hugo Ekitike is a doubt for this game after picking up a muscle injury in his last game for the club.

Liverpool predicted starting XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Mamardashvili (GK) — Frimpong, Konate, Van Dijk, Kerkez — Mac Allister, Gravenberch — Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo — Isak.

Injured: Alisson Becker (thigh injury), Leoni (ACL injury), Bajcetic (hamstring injury), Ekitike (doubtful)
Suspended: None
