Arsenal have three players missing due to injuries. The two most recent are Kai Havertz, who suffered a knee injury this week, and new signing Christian Norgaard. Gabriel Jesus is expected to miss the better part of the first half of the season as he recovers from knee surgery.
Any deal for Eberechi Eze is not likely to be completed in time for him to make his debut against Leeds. Gunners fans will instead need to wait until at least the visit to Anfield on August 31 to see Eze in action.
Arteta is not expected to make any player changes to the lineup and will keep it the same as that against Man United, perhaps with a minor tweak to the formation.
