Tottenham Hotspur are in an exciting position heading into 2022/23.

A strong showing last term in the Premier League secured them a fourth-place finish and a return to UEFA Champions League football for the first time since 2020.

The arrival of Antonio Conte has been pivotal to this and Spurs fans far and wide will hope that the Italian can continue to expire success, both domestically and on the European stage.

Unlike other clubs who are standing still in the transfer market this summer, Spurs have signed no fewer than four players in the form of Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic and Josh Keeley.

The north London club will hope to add more signings ahead of the campaign getting underway while looking to move on spare parts to make way for Conte to continue to stamp his vision on the club.

Confirmed transfers in

Tottenham have signed four players so far this summer. The pick of the bunch that will be expected to hit the ground running in 2022/23 are Yves Bissouma and Ivan Perisic, the former enjoying a positive spell at Brighton & Hove Albion and the latter having won all three domestic trophies with Inter Milan.

Of course, Spurs have also carried out reinforcements in the goalkeeping department. Former Celtic and Southampton keeper Fraser Forster will provide competition for Hugo Lloris this campaign, while young shot-stopper Josh Keeley has achieved a dream move to the Premier League from League of Ireland side St Patrick's Athletic.

Confirmed transfers out

Only one notable player has transferred out of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer, as Cameron Carter-Vickers has completed a move to Scottish Premiership champions Celtic after spending 2021/22 on loan at Parkhead.

Pierluigi Gollini has returned to Atalanta after providing cover in the goalkeeping department for Tottenham in 2021/22.

New contracts

No major new contract extensions have been announced at Tottenham this summer, with most players who have a part to play in north London this campaign being tied down for the next two years at least.

Returning loanees

Conte has some decisions to make on returning loan players, with the likes of Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele set to return from their short-term spells at Villarreal and Lyon respectively.

Bryan Gil, Troy Parrott, Kion Etete, Jack Clarke and Pape Matar Sarr will also re-enter the fray come preseason. Alfie Whiteman is still currently on loan at Degerfors IF in Sweden, their campaign not being due to finish until November.
