England bagged a 2-0 win against Andorra in their last World Cup qualifying match on September 6, at Villa Park.

The Three Lions’ first goal came from an own goal by Andorra’s Christian García Gonzalez in the 25th minute, followed by Declan Rice doubling England’s score from an assist by Reece James in the 67th minute.

With this victory, England stand on top of the Group K table after winning all four of their matches so far with 12 points.

Amid their recent success, the Three Lions' head coach, Thomas Tuchel, has opened up about his tactical plans for the World Cup next year.

What did England boss Thomas Tuchel say?

Speaking ahead of England’s next qualifying match, Tuchel mentioned that his squad will have to be strategic in their efforts on the pitch, considering they ‘do not have a lot of time’ to prepare for the competition next year.

"I told you: the long throw-in is back. But we do not have a lot of time. But once we arrive at the World Cup, all these things matter, so we will also talk about long throw-ins, we will talk about long kicks from the goalkeeper and not only playing short,” as per GOAL.

“But we cannot put everything into four days of training. But these things will matter. And let's see. I need to reflect now with my assistant coaches. All these patterns are back and crosses are back as well."

Tuchel & Co. will now face Serbia in their next qualifying match on September 9 at Rajko Mitic Stadium.
