Manchester United match schedule: Is Cristiano Ronaldo playing for Man United? image

Manchester United's three-match gauntlet leading into the November international break got off to a strong start.

With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer coaching for his job, United pulled off a convincing 3-0 win at Tottenham Hotspur on Matchday 10 of the Premier League. Cristiano Ronaldo had a goal and assist in the victory, which featured a new 3-5-2 tactical set-up. All expectations are that it will return for Tuesday's Champions League group stage match against Atalanta in which Man United can move one step closer to locking up a place in the Round of 16.

Atalanta will present a significant challenge as witnessed in the match played between the two sides at Old Trafford. La Dea took a shock 2-0 road lead at halftime before the Red Devils stormed back for a 3-2 win in the second half. Manchester United is in first place in Group F, but it only has a two-point lead with three matches to play.

When it comes to the Premier League, the win at Spurs has Man United among the top five, eight points behind league leaders Chelsea. It will get a chance to catch intra-city rivals Manchester City when the two face off in the Manchester derby on Saturday, Nov. 6 at Old Trafford. If Man United can pull off positive results against both Atalanta and Man City, the players will have likely saved Solskjaer's place as manager at least through the end of the calendar year.

Manchester United's complete season schedule follows below.
