West London bragging rights are on the line this Saturday as Fulham welcome Brentford to Craven Cottage in the Premier League.
The Cottagers edged the Bees 3-2 in a thriller last time the sides met, and another close contest is expected.
Marco Silva's men finally got off the mark with a fortunate 1-0 win over Leeds United last time out courtesy of a late own goal. While their attack has lacked spark, Fulham can take confidence from their defensive record, with all four goals conceded so far coming from set-pieces rather than open play.
Brentford, meanwhile, continue their mixed start under Keith Andrews. A late Fabio Carvalho strike earned them a dramatic draw with Chelsea last week, before they progressed past Aston Villa in the EFL Cup on penalties.
However, the Bees have lost both league games on the road this season and history is not on their side, having fallen in two of their three Premier League trips to Craven Cottage.
With Fulham chasing back-to-back league wins and Brentford aiming to improve their away form, this derby promises tension, mistakes, and maybe another dramatic finish under the Cottage lights.
