The current Socceroos squad boasts some serious talent with a handful of players representing their clubs in the UEFA Champions League this season.

The Sporting News takes a look at the Socceroos ratings in FIFA 23 with a full list of the top 20 players below.

Who is the best Socceroos player in FIFA 23?

For the fourth year in a row, Maty Ryan is the highest-rated Australian player in FIFA 23.

The experienced goalkeeper has been handed an overall rating of 78 - a small increase on the 77 he was given last year.

After struggling for regular game time with Real Sociedad last season, Ryan moved to Danish side FC Copenhagen over the off-season and is now representing the club in the Champions League group stages.

Socceroos perfect for pace in FIFA 23

While Australia might not match up too well against other national teams in FIFA 23, they do have pace to burn.

Hibernian winger Martin Boyle is the Socceroos' fastest player in FIFA 23 and has an impressive pace rating of 92.

He's not the only quick Aussie in the game with Awer Mabil (87), Marco Tilio (83), Adam Taggart (83) and Mathew Leckie (82) also boasting strong pace stats too.
