Ahead of FIFA 23's release, EA Sports have revealed the players who have received the biggest upgrades to their overall rating. 

Whether it's in career mode or Ultimate Team, knowing the players with the best potential and room for improvement is key to getting a long-term edge. 

A number of young players have developed considerably in the real world over the past 12 months and this will be translated to the FIFA 23 pitch. 

The Sporting News looks at the most improved players on FIFA 23 with a full list of those who will be getting a big rating increase. 

Who is the most improved player on FIFA 23?

Paris Saint-Germain striker Hugo Ekitike has been given the biggest rating increase on FIFA 23. 

The 20-year-old had a 61 overall rating on FIFA 22 and that's gone up to 76 this year.

Ekitike came through Reims' academy in France and joined PSG on loan in July 2022.

The young forward has already made five Ligue 1 appearances for the French giants this season and clearly has the club excited by his potential. 

Ekitike scored 10 goals in Ligue 1 last season for Reims to attract the attention of PSG, who have an option to buy the striker at the end of the 2022/23 campaign. 

Which Premier League players have improved the most on FIFA 23?

Six players contracted to Premier League clubs feature in the list of FIFA 23's most improved players. 

Southampton right-back Tino Livramento is the second most improved player overall with his 61 rating skyrocketing to 75 this year. 

The 19-year-old was part of Chelsea's academy for over 10 years before joining the Saints in 2021. 

Livramento played 32 times in all competitions for Southampton in 2021/22 with his performances earning him a much better FIFA rating this time around. 

New Tottenham defender Djed Spence has seen his rating increase 10 points to 75 after impressing on loan last season with Nottingham Forest. 

Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale was also rewarded for his saves in 2021/22 with a new rating of 82 - up from 74 in FIFA 22. 

Fellow Premier League trio Deniz Undav, Anthony Gordon and Jacob Ramsey have all seen their overall rating jump up eight places.
