Bayern Munich have been in exceptional form this season and one of the primary reasons for their perfect start has to be Harry Kane's destructive form in front of goal.

The England skipper has been in scintillating form this season and is nearing 100 goals (98 goals) from only 103 matches for the Bavarians.

While he is enjoying his best start to any campaign in his professional career, there are murmurs of him returning to England with his former club Tottenham Hotspur heavily linked with the 32-year-old.

Amidst all the rumours around Kane's future, reports from BILD suggest that Bayern Munich are eyeing a move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic as the Serbian is seen as a long-term successor for the English talisman.

Interestingly, Bayern Munich were interested in Vlahovic in the past but because they secured Kane from Tottenham, they didn't push for the Serbian's signature.

The 25-year-old has fallen out of favour at Turin and is not going sign a new deal therefore Bayern Munich could possibly agree a pre-contract agreement in the January transfer window.

Which Premier League teams are also interested in Vlahovic?

Vlahovic has become a major target for several European clubs considering his current form and overall contract situation.

Premier League clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea are also monitoring the 25-year-old contract situation with a lot of interest.

Vlahovic has thrived as a impact substitute for Juventus this season, scoring goals against Parma, Genoa and a brace against Borussia Dortmund in a 4-4 draw in the Champions League

With the arrival of Lois Openda and Jonathan David meant that Vlahovic was relegated to the bench but the 25-year-old's goalscoring prowess forced manager Igor Tudor to turn to him in tricky situations.

However, Vlahovic finds himself is an extremely sticky situation as he is desperately looking to move out of Turin. Juventus will hope that Premier League clubs make a move for him in January.

As for Bayern, they are unlikely to make a move for the Serbian in January as they are clearly looking to sign him on free transfer next summer.

Overall, Vlahovic has netted 62 goals in 150 appearances for Juventus since making the switch from Fiorentina in January 2022.

He finished with 17 goals and six assists from 44 matches last season which includes 10 goals in 29 appearances in Serie A.
