Liverpool have a host of talent in their squad, including news signings Milos Kerkez, Hugo Ekitike, and Florian Wirtz.
Ekitike is off to a flying start, while Wirtz has struggled to find his footing with the Reds in the Premier League.
Germany and Bayern Munich legend Philipp Lahm has shown his support for the current German international Wirtz.
Lahm, who won the 2014 World Cup with Germany, backed the 22-year-old to be a generational talent in the Premier League.
What did Lahm say about Wirtz?
On his column for The Guardian, Lahm discussed the difference between Wirtz and fellow German international, Nick Woltemade, who shined on the international stage for the U-21 squad at the Euros over the summer.

Lahm wrote, "The best footballers, such as Lamine Yamal, [Jude] Bellingham, Jamal Musiala and Wirtz, do not take part in such tournaments having long since outgrown the level.
"Every time he takes to the pitch, you can see how Wirtz interprets his No 10 role.
"He solves difficult situations, sets up new ones and, as an individualist who puts himself at the service of everyone else, is the ideal team player. His actions and performances are reliable for coaches and teammates."
Wirtz scored 57 goals and had 65 assists in less than 200 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen.
The midfielder secured an assist in the Community Shield, but has yet to score a goal in the league for Liverpool.
Lahm still believes Wirtz will shine in the Premier League, writing, "He chose his new club for sporting reasons."

"It takes time to fit into a team. This is especially true for a player who makes a difference. So far, he is getting into his groove and adapting to the pace and intensity of the Premier League.
"He passes the ball early, which gives him increasing confidence and allows him to gradually take more risks."
Lahm noted Wirtz's performance against Arsenal, which the ex-player described as brillant.
"What caught the eye was Wirtz as a team player, and in the second half, his brilliance. He played razor‑sharp passes, took the ball superbly with his right foot in the penalty area and shot with his left.
"Wirtz’s qualities are becoming increasingly apparent at Liverpool."
