Liverpool have reportedly reached an agreement with Crystal Palace to bring Marc Guehi to Anfield right before the end of the transfer window.
The Reds have been heavily linked with making a move for Guehi this summer. Crystal Palace, meanwhile, had a decision to make as the 25-year-old entered the last year of his current contract there, and the Eagles could either sell him now or risk letting him go for free next June.
Guehi has been a key player in Crystal Palace's backline last season, contributing to 17 clean sheets in 44 games while recording three goals and two assists.
Both Premier League sides reached a deal after reaching a compromise on the fee for Guehi, with Liverpool originally making an offer of £35m, plus a 10% sell-on clause, according to BBC Sport. The defender has reportedly been given permission by the Eagles to complete the formalities of his transfer, including a medical assessment, in London on Monday.
The Athletic reported that with the agreement on personal terms, Guehi is set to sign a five-year contract with Liverpool that will run through to 2030.

The report from BBC Sport also suggested that Crystal Palace are still declining to sanction Guehi's transfer to Liverpool amid issues in sorting a replacement after their target Igor Julio opted for a move to West Ham.

The Eagles have signed Toulouse defender Jaydee Canvot on a four-year deal. However, Palace have planned to bring on two replacements prior to Guehi's departure.
While the deal remains to be finalised, Guehi is expected to leave Selhurst Park after making 161 appearances during which he recorded nine goals and four assists for Crystal Palace.
