Liverpool have now lost two matches in a row, first in the Premier League to Crystal Palace, and second to Galatasaray in the Champions League.
Things went from bad to worse for Arne Slot's side, though, as two starters came off in the Champions League match due to injuries.
Arne Slot has already ruled out one starter from the upcoming league match against Chelsea, and the second starter is racing against time to be fit.
Which two Liverpool starters were injured in the Champions League loss?
Goalkeeper Alisson came off injured after cleaning up after Ibrahima Konate's mistake that gave the ball away to Victor Osimhen.
The Brazilian immediately signalled to the bench with discomfort in his hamstring, and Slot has already ruled the goalkeeper out of the Chelsea clash.

Speaking after the match, Slot said, "It's never positive if you go off like this. [Alisson] is definitely not going to play on Saturday.
"When he sprinted back, he felt something. I cannot tell you [what] because I'm not a physio.
"And with the worst, he cannot continue, and that's what happened with Alisson. Normally, he will not be able to play Saturday. That's 99.9 per cent, but I think it's 100 per cent."
Alisson was replaced by summer signing Giorgi Mamardashvili, who will likely start at the weekend.
Hugo Ekitike was also forced off, although Slot hasn't ruled out the Frenchman for the Chelsea clash.
On Ekitike's injury, Slot said, "Let's see how he is for the weekend. He felt something when he had to reach for the ball. After the game, that's always the difficult thing with these moments.
"Sometimes you feel it's not too bad. But when you walk around, it's something different, or have to sprint and have to take a shot on target. He said he couldn't continue, so we had to take him off."
If Ekitike is ruled out of the weekend match, Alexander Isak would be in line to get his second Premier League start in a row for Liverpool.
