One of Chelsea’s Premier League rivals are confident of signing a forgotten Blues star before the transfer window shuts on September 1.

One of the players who is certainly on his way out of the club is Axel Disasi. The central defender spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, but that did not materialise into a permanent move.
In the wake of that move, the Blues have been eager to get rid of Disasi, and now Premier League side Bournemouth have emerged as the favourites to sign him.
Renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano has given an update on Disasi’s future.
According to the Italian journalist, Bournemouth have made Disasi their “top target” and are “confident” about signing the central defender.

Other clubs have also been linked with Disasi. For instance, it has been claimed that Wolverhampton Wanderers are trying to sign Disasi as well.
However, Bournemouth appear to be in the driver’s seat for the 27-year-old’s signature. Regardless of where the defender ends up, Chelsea will just be eager to get the defender off their books at this point.
