Monday marked the end of a busy transfer window for Chelsea, one that saw incomings and outgoings in equal measure.
Though Chelsea did not make any signings on deadline day, Enzo Maresca now knows the players he will be working with until January at least.
The Blues completed a lot of their summer transfer business before the Club World Cup in June, and that included signing Liam Delap from Ipswich Town.
However, the striker picked up a hamstring injury in the game against Fulham at the weekend and is set to be out for up to two months.
In his absence, another new signing, Joao Pedro, has been delivering the goods for Chelsea.
The Brazilian has scored five goals in all competitions so far since joining the Blues, and his performances have not gone unnoticed by former players and pundits.

Jamie Carragher hails Joao Pedro’s instant impact for Chelsea
Joao Pedro once again proved his worth as he scored Chelsea’s opening goal against Fulham that set them on their way to an important 2-0 win.
After the match, Jamie Carragher was quick to praise the Brazilian forward’s performance and highlighted its importance to the club.

When asked if he thinks Pedro will be a success, Carragher said: “I think he’ll be a hit so far. I think he’s done alright so far. He looks the part in the kit, doesn’t he?”
The former defender’s praise for Pedro is valuable given that he does not rate every Chelsea star. For instance, Carragher revealed one thing that has already irked him about new Chelsea signing, Alejandro Garnacho, even before the Argentine has played a game for his new club.
“I’m not a fan of Garnacho. Miss. You know what I didn’t like? The game yesterday [vs Fulham], when they go to them in the stands and they’re on the phone when the game’s going on. It’s not just him by the way, there’s lots of them, I can’t stand it.”
The former Manchester United man will look to win over Carragher when he takes to the field for Chelsea after the international break.
