Enzo Maresca retains the full backing of Chelsea's leadership team despite a stuttering run of results that has seen his side lose three consecutive matches to Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Brighton, The Sporting News understands.
While the sequence has reignited scrutiny around the Italian coach, senior figures at Stamford Bridge remain calm, pointing to the wider context of the campaign.
The Blues have been hit by ill-discipline in recent weeks, with four of their past five defeats across the last six months involving a red card.
Sources close to the club stress that owners Behdad Eghbali and Todd Boehly, along with sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley, are taking a long-term view.
They supported Maresca through a more difficult spell during last season's festive period and were ultimately rewarded with a top-four finish and two trophies.
Maresca himself admitted after the Brighton defeat on Saturday that his players had been "giving opponents presents" and stressed the need to cut out individual errors.

Injuries across key positions have further complicated his ability to rotate during a demanding schedule, and the club recognises the importance of managing that balance between domestic and European competition.
The presence of senior figures in the dressing room after Saturday's loss was also downplayed, with Maresca explaining that it is standard practice.
"They have been inside the changing-room, like always. We have an office there where, after every game, we sit and talk. But they did not say anything to the players.
"It was nothing completely different compared to the rest of the games."
Maresca's side face tough tests ahead with a Champions League match against Benfica on Tuesday night, before coming up against Liverpool on Saturday in the Premier League.
