Lamine Yamal once again scored a goal for FC Barcelona, but it wasn't enough to earn three points. FC Barcelona drew 1-1 against Rayo Vallecano at the Estadio de Vallecas.

The 18-year-old star was part of a controversy due to his penalty being awarded when VAR was not working.

Yamal was brought down in the box that led to Barcelona's penalty. The young star has four goal contributions in three games with Barcelona, with two goals and two assists.

Despite another goal contribution, Yamal was not satisfied with his performance, along with the team's performance. The teenager expects the team to improve after the international break, which starts this week.

Barcelona are 4th with seven points after three games. Yamal mentions that he could be better and wants the team to replicate the team's form from last season.

Lamine Yamal: "I can be better. I'm not in my peak. The stats are very good, but I don't care. I want to feel better on the pitch."

Lamine Yamal on Barcelona's performance

Yamal's was not satisfied with the team's performance and thinks that the international break could be good for the team to reset focus. Barcelona's next game is against Valencia on September 14.

The Champions League will also be arriving, and Barcelona's first game in the UCL is against Newcastle United at St. James' Park.

Yamal believes the team is up for the challenge ahead and shows his ambition in terms of replicating the season before.

Lamine Yamal: "After the international break, we will try to win as many matches as possible, play as we always have, and return to our philosophy, which we haven't fully shown in this match. But anyway, we will rest now and come back stronger."
