FC Barcelona will play its next game against Valencia, and after requesting the match to be played at Valencia's stadium, La Liga rejected the idea. On September 14, Barcelona will play its first home game of the season, and the club has yet to confirm where the match will be played.

Barcelona has three options: Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium (Montjuïc Stadium), Estadi Johan Cruyff, or the Spotify Camp Nou with a limited capacity.

Barcelona's preferred option is the Spotify Camp Nou, and there is a realistic opportunity that they can play in their stadium in the next match against Valencia.

Sport reports that Barcelona will play their next match at the Spotify Camp Nou. The club will reportedly receive the required permit in the next few hours. Mundo Deportivo reports that if permits don’t arrive in time, the game against Valencia would move to Estadi Johan Cruyff.

If the stadium is not ready in time for the home match against Valencia, the latest Barcelona can play at the Camp Nou is the home game against Getafe on September 21.

How Many Fans will fit at the Camp Nou this month?

If permits are granted for Barcelona to host a home game at Camp Nou this month, the stadium could hold up to 27,000 fans. The Camp Nou has three phases for the capacity size.

Phase 1A of the Camp Nou re-opening would hold 27,000 fans. Phase 1B holds 45,000, and Phase 1C would hold up to 60,000.

Barcelona wants to play home games at the Camp Nou in the Champions League, but the stadium would need to be ready at Phase 1B at least for home games during the league phase.

Mundo Deportivo reports that if Phase 1B of the Camp Nou is not completed, Barcelona will have to play home games at the Montjuïc Stadium for the league stage of the Champions League, which lasts from September to January.
