Barcelona are desperately plotting a succession plan for Robert Lewandowski, who is in the twilight of his illustrious career at the age of 37.
The Polish striker is way off his prime and therefore he is often seen sharing minutes with Ferrand Torres upfront for the Catalans.
He is also in the final year of his contract and the reigning La Liga champions need to find a successor next summer.
As per reports in Spain via El Nacional, Barcelona are looking to raid Bayern Munich once again as they are plotting a move for Harry Kane, just like they did when they signed Lewandowski back in 2022.
Barcelona's sporting director Deco is all set to test Bayern Munich's resolve next summer as they feel the 32-year-old is ideal for Hansi Flick's system and also as a successor to the Pole.
Kane has been one of the most consistent players in Europe ever since joining Bayern Munich and even Flick is a big admirer of the Englishman.

The 32-year-old has already netted 95 goals in 102 appearances for the Bavarians since moving from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023 and his exploits have impressed Deco and everyone at Barcelona.
Barcelona are also eyeing another player from Bayern apart from Kane
With Inigo Martinez's departure to Saudi Arabia, Barcelona are shorthanded in defense and though they didn't sign anyone this summer, they are weighing up a big defensive reinforcement next summer.

Flick is eyeing a move for Bayern Munich stalwart Dayot Upamecano, who is currently in talks with his parent club over contract renewal.
The Frenchman has shown massive improvement under Vincent Kompany and Flick believes he is perfectly suited for his high-line defensive strategy.
Upamecano brings physicality, spatial awareness, excellent recovery pace and overall great Bundesliga and Champions League experience which would only help Barcelona if the move eventually happens.
Signing both, Kane and Upamecano would be a statement from Barcelona, but it is highly unlikely that Bayern Munich would agree to sell two of their most important players in the roster.
But Barcelona president Joan Laporta and Deco reportedly believe that there will be an opening for the move next summer and they are hoping to convince the duo to make the switch to Spain.
