Hector Fort and Iñaki Peña have been two likely candidates to leave the club this summer with both being linked with moves away.
Peña isn't seen as a starting level keeper and the club prefer Wojciech Szczesny as the backup keeper.
As for Hector Fort, it seems like Hansi Flick doesn't trust him to be a capable backup for Kounde or Balde but sees him as a talented player that needs gametime somewhere. Now it seems like this out of favor duo may be on the move to the same Serie A side.
Como Loan
According to Anais Marti on La Vanguardia, the duo could both be joining Italian side Como on loan.
For Peña it would be a two year loan with him extending his contract with Barcelona and for Fort it would be a simple one year loan.
Peña has been linked to Como for a while now as manager Cesc Fabregas seems to be a fan of the 26-year-old. It seems like this move has been in the works for a while as Barcelona's registration issues have been the only thing preventing this move to go through
For Fort, he has had offers and interest around Europe with Fabrizio Romano saying that Aston Villa have interest. It would be interesting to see where he lands as it's key for his development to find a club where it's the right environment and he gets minutes. A club like Como may be a better option for him than making the move to Aston Villa.
Whether this double deal with Como goes through is yet to be seen, but it's almost guaranteed that both these players will leave on loan.
