Arsenal receive triple fitness boost ahead of Nottingham Forest clash image

Arsenal will be without several key players for their showdown against Nottingham Forest and the newly appointed Ange Postecoglou.

William Saliba and Bukayo Saka are still missing from the fray, with both suffering injuries earlier this season.

Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus remain absent, as the pair have longer-term injuries.

Mikel Arteta has received good news, though, with a trio of players returning to the Gunners' training before the weekend's match.

Which players are back in Arsenal's training?

Ben White, Christian Norgaard, and Piero Hincapie were all featured in training two days before Arsenal's next Premier League clash.

White started in Arsenal's opening league match, before missing the next two matches with an unspecified issue.

The full-back was hoping to be fit in time for the match against Forest, and he's on track to at least make it into Arteta's squad.

Norgaard has yet to feature for Arsenal competitively after his summer transfer from Brentford due to an injury.

The Danish international can be a key player in Arsenal's midfield once he returns to full fitness.

Hincapie, who had been away on international duty, has swiftly returned to Arsenal's squad, with the loanee participating in his first session with the Gunners.

The Ecuadorian signed on deadline day, and he'll be hoping to make a fast impact for Arteta's side.
