After losing the gold-medal game to the United States in 2018, Team Canada is seeking vengeance at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

Thirteen players have returned from the team that suffered a 3-2 loss to Team USA in Pyeongchang four years ago. Star forwards Marie-Philip Poulin and Rebecca Johnston will help lead the squad as it strives for its first gold medal since 2014.
