How to watch Jets vs. Sabres today: Channel, time, schedule, live stream for Monday Night Hockey image

The Jets received the worst possible news last week when they found out that their all-world goaltender, Connor Hellebuyck, would be out 4-6 weeks after knee surgery.

Hellebuyck, who took home both the Hart Trophy and Vezina Trophy a year ago, is just 8-6-0 with a 2.51 goals-against average and.913 save percentage this year.

With Hellebuyck having the surgery now, it's expected that he'll be able to return this season for Winnipeg and potentially be on the roster for Team USA at the Olympic Games in February.

Until then, the Jets will have to continue to navigate life without him, which includes tonight vs. The Sabres. Buffalo hasn't had a problem putting the puck in the net this season, averaging more than three goals per game, but they haven't been able to keep the puck out of their own net, giving up close to three and a half goals per contest.

Will the Jets' stingy defense, even without Hellebuyck, hold the Sabres down, or will Buffalo be able to turn this game into a track meet?

Here's everything you need to know to catch the Jets vs. Sabres, including the TV channel, streaming options and start time.
